RE: UCPath TAM Cutover Dates

Dear UCSB Business Officers and OACIS submitters and reviewers,

As we continue our planning for the June 1 deployment of Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM), a module in UCPath, the following key dates will help your department transition as smoothly as possible:

Date Action
Wednesday, April 1
  • Last day for departments to request new Hiring Manager security role in TAM for designated individuals for provisioning in time for go-live
Monday, April 20
  • TAM training starts for end-users
Thursday, May 7
  • Last day to submit  job requisitions to HR Employment unit for posting on OACIS 
Monday, May 11 (exact timing TBD)
  • TAM module in UCPath is available to those who have been assigned the Hiring Manager security role. Hiring Managers will have full access to begin creating new job openings in TAM
  • User Support Labs will be available to answer questions from Hiring Managers (Specific times and dates will follow.)
Tuesday, May 26
  • Last day for job applicants to apply for job postings in OACIS
  • All job postings in OACIS will close at 10 p.m. PT
  • The OACIS external job posting page will remain visible after 10 p.m., but will not accept new applications
Friday, May 29
  • Last day for departments with HireRight user accounts to submit background check requests to HireRight
Monday, June 1
  • TAM candidate gateway will be available to external applicants at https://jobs.ucsb.edu and internal applicants will access the internal candidate gateway through the UCPath portal
  • OACIS is accessed through a new URL available to campus users only at https://admin.jobs.ucsb.edu. The close-out of in-flight recruitments and the continuation of job description-related workflow (i.e., job description library, job description update, create a new job description, reclassify a job description, etc.) will occur via OACIS. The external-facing OACIS webpage will no longer be visible to applicants.
  • The new background vendor, Universal, will be live to receive background check requests
