RE: UCPath Notice: UCPath General Ledger Freeze
Dear UCSB UCPath Transactional Users,
As part of the Financial Management Modernization (FMM) cutover process, the freeze of General Ledger (GL) administration in UCPath begins Wednesday, June 18 through Sunday, July 6. The system comes back online on Monday, July 7.
All Funding Entries must be approved or canceled by the end of the day, Tuesday, June 17. UCSB will not have access to the following GL functions during the freeze period:
- Budget Distribution & Budget Distribution Upload
- Review or Process Salary Cost Transfers
- Review or Process Direct Retros
- Review or Process Benefit Cost Transfers
- Funding Entry & Funding Upload
- Funding Entry on New Positions
Key dates previously communicated by BFS:
- Friday, June 13 – Departments must approve or cancel all pending DRs/SCTs transactions. Any pending DRs/SCTs after this date will be rejected in UCPath and can never be transferred again.
- Friday, June 13 – Ensure all suspense account balances (89998, 89997, 89996) have been reviewed and cleared.
Please ensure all transactions are completed by the dates above to avoid future financial discrepancies or reporting issues. These activities are required to ensure a smooth transition to the new CCOA. On July 1, the new CCOA goes live, and the old COA will no longer support transactions. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated.
