2025/2026 ePerformance Cycle Now Underway

The new ePerformance cycle for policy-covered (non-represented) staff began on April 1, 2025. Evaluation documents are now available, and the first key step is completing the Define Criteria (Goal Setting) section.

Key Reminders:

  • Ensure all eligible direct reports appear in your ePerformance queue.
  • Supervisors and employees should collaborate to set goals before completing the Define Criteria section.
  • Training and resources are available on the HR website. 
  • Need Help? Submit a ticket to the HRIS team via HR ServiceNow.

Gov't Code 3558

Under Government Code Section 3558, of the California Assembly Bill 119, the university has an obligation to provide the name, job title, department, work location, work, home, personal cellular telephone number, work, and personal email addresses, and home address for new represented employees within 30 days of hire or by the first pay period of the month following hire (Gov. Code §3558) to their respective unions.

Failure to comply may result in the department being responsible for fines.

UCPath July Release

July 2025 will mark the launch of the following projects in the UCPath system: Improve Self-Service, the Annual UCPath Upgrade, and Expanded Paid Sick Leave Phase 2. 

  • The Improve Self-Service project aims to improve the user experience for both Employee and Manager Self-Service portals in UCPath by leveraging new Fluid functionality. Features of this project include a mobile-friendly layout, accessibility improvements, and modernized benefits enrollment.

  • The Annual UCPath Upgrade will update the UCPath system from PUM 47 to the latest Oracle PeopleSoft HCM software, PUM 49. 
  • Expanded Paid Sick Leave Phase 2 will expand the protected sick leave options to academics.
