Hello UCSB UCPath Transactors,

As previously communicated, UCPath is implementing a June Release that includes several upgrades and enhancements to the system, including deploying Lived Name functionality for UCPath Users. Please plan for this downtime and complete necessary UCPath activities prior to the outage.

This is your final reminder that UCPath will be unavailable during the following times:

Start Time

End Time

Friday, June 16 - 3:00 p.m.

Monday, June 19 - 9:00 p.m. (Holiday)

*Please note that this is a Holiday Weekend

Prepping for Downtime:

  • Coordinate between transactors and approvers.
  • Review department processes and tasks that take place in June that may be impacted by deadlines and downtime such as fiscal close, short work break, hires, terminations and retirements.
  • It is recommended to complete the approval of all AWE transactions before the downtime.
  • Submit all requests/transactions by the deadlines communicated by Payroll,  Timekeeping, Human Resources, and Academic Personnel.
  • Approve transactions before 3pm Friday, June 16.
    • Academic non-students require second level approval. Please provide department approval by 12:00pm to allow AP time to approve before the final deadline.
  • Utilize the Work List to identify pending transactions.
