RE: Webinar Reminder and Next Steps to Prepare for Downtime

Hello UCSB UCPath Transactors, 

As previously communicated, UCPath will implement a June Release that includes several upgrades and enhancements to the system. The UCPath project team is hosting a go-live readiness session on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 10:00 am PST via Webinar. To register for the webinar, please click here. 

Please plan for this downtime and complete necessary UCPath activities prior to the outage.

Prepping for Downtime: 

  • Review department processes and tasks that take place in June that may be impacted by cutover deadlines and downtime such as fiscal close, retirements and short work breaks.
  • It is recommended to complete the approval of all AWE transactions before the downtime.  
  • The UCPath upgrade team strongly recommends starting early on transactions when possible, especially as we navigate holidays and vacations. As we approach the deadlines, please remember to plan your work with downtime in mind.
  • Submit all requests/transactions by the deadlines communicated by Payroll,  Timekeeping, Human Resources, and Academic Personnel.
  • The Payroll Processing Schedule deadlines must be strictly followed for completing transactions and submitting interface files.

IMPORTANT:  UCPath will be unavailable during the following times, please note that this is a Holiday Weekend
