RE: Summer Salary Rehire Transactions and Erroneous Benefit Notice Emails


When the Rehire Template with the Concurrent Hire Reason Code is used to process hires into existing Summer Salary positions/employee records, the UCPath system is sending out an auto-generated email regarding benefits enrollment to employees (example below). This notice does not apply to Summer Salary hires and the issue has been raised with UCPC for review/resolution. 

When using the Rehire template, please inform employees that this notice does not apply to them. Employees can also confirm that their benefit enrollments are correct by reviewing their elections in UCPath at Employee Actions > Health and Welfare > Benefit Summary. If any benefit enrollment issues are identified, a Case should be created with UCPC using the “Ask UCPath” button.
