RE: UCPath Notice: BR Graduate Student Researcher (GSR) 4/1/23 Range Adjustment and Transaction Freeze
 

Please be advised that UCPC has initiated the employee updates for the BR GSR 4/1/23 (MO) and 4/2/23 (BW) academic range adjustment are now in progress. 

There are several position and job attributes being updated, please remember to FREEZE (DO NOT UPDATE) location transactions (PayPath or Position Control) for the impacted population as communicated on the attached UCPath April 2023 GSR Range Adjustment timeline from 4/6/2023 - 4/11/2023.

  • Freeze ONLY applies to
    • Pay Component changes to the Impacted Population (which are those in the salary plans being range adjusted). 
    • Pay Component changes include paypath (position and job) changes such as job code changes, employee classification changes, salary plan changes, pay rate changes, etc.
  • The Freeze DOES NOT apply to
    • New Hire, Concurrent Hire, Rehire, Termination, Retirement, Extend Job, and Short Work Break transactions CAN be processed.
    • Other population transactions outside the below listed job codes. 

All transaction processing can resume on 4/12/23.
