As reported to campus IT staff earlier today, problems were encountered this morning with the UCPath employee feed to the campus Identity system, resulting in approximately 1150 active employees being marked as terminated. As a result, their UCSBnetIDs were automatically deactivated. The Identity Management team in ETS ran a batch update to reestablish access for all affected employees.
Any employees who are still experiencing UCSBnetID authentication issues should contact the ETSC at x5000 or http://etsc.ucsb.edu for assistance.
This is still an active incident. We are investigating the root cause with the UCPath Center and will provide more information as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
