If you have a question about your payroll or personnel information in UCPath, first check with your supervisor or departmental Business Officer. 

Minor Paycheck Questions

Contact the UCPath Center. You can submit a question about minor errors in pay directly through the UCPath employee portal and track the status of your case online.  Log into UCPath and use the “Ask UCPath Center” button to submit an inquiry or call 855‐982‐7284 and talk to an associate: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Pacific.

Major Pay Discrepancy

Contact your supervisor or Business Officer. Business Officers should immediately report major pay discrepancies to the following departments:

  • UCSB Payroll Office at bfshelp.ucsb.edu or 805-893-4145 (for staff, student employees, and work-study employees)
  • UCSB Academic Personnel Office at AP-Path@ucsb.edu or 805-893-5429 (for faculty, graduate students, postdoc, and non-student academic)

Benefits Questions

Faculty, Staff, and non-student Academic Employees:
If your benefits information is incorrect in UCPath Online, contact the UCSB Benefits Office at hrhelp.ucsb.edu or 805-893-2499.

Graduate Student Employees and Post Docs:
If your benefits information is incorrect in UCPath Online, contact the UCSB Academic Personnel Office at AP-Path@ucsb.edu or 805-893-5429.

Timesheet Hours/Accruals Questions

Contact your supervisor or department timekeeper.

Parking Fee Deduction Questions

Contact your supervisor or Business Officer. Business Officers should report parking fee deduction discrepancies to UCSB Transportation & Parking Services at 805-893-8731.

Leave of Absence Status Questions

Contact your supervisor or Business Officer. Business Officers should contact: 

  • UCSB Human Resources at hrhelp.ucsb.edu or 805-893-4752 (for staff employees) 
  • UCSB Academic Personnel at AP-Path@ucsb.edu or 805-893-5429 (for faculty, academic employees, graduate student employees, and post docs)

If you need help signing into UCPath Online with your UCSBNetID try contacting your business officers first or contact the UCSB Identity Group.
